"Merry Christmas From Chiron Beta Prime" is always the second song we play for friends who haven't heard of him yet. "Re: Your Brains" is the first. (After that we usually segue into "Code Monkey," but it varies.)

By the way, I'd like to mention that when Making Light was down for a few hours, I had a panicky moment of thinking that the owners of nielsenhaydn.com, who advertise, among others, Publish America, might have had something to do with it. You know, some kind of plot.

Luckily, it turned out to be a hoax. Now I'll set about arresting, charging, and prosecuting those responsible.

As another Coulton Express latecomer (spotted in November, immediately exploited the £/$ exchange rate to get everything he's ever done for the equivalent of two days' train fare), the first thing I tend to play to newcomers is _Better_. I don't know why I like that song so much: I guess I just do. (Mind you, he still doesn't have a patch on Shostakovich, Sigur Rós, or Stravinsky, but he's not half bad.)
