You need to do more computer fiddling. The time stamp on this entry says 5am on Mar. 24. It's only 9pm here on the left coast, so it can't be any later than midnight there. How'd you get 5 hours into the future?

EST is -5 and that's what my browser shows as pasted below. Just possibly somebody is set to display what I still call ZULU? Lots of opportunity here for witty remarks about different time systems for astronomers too.

Well, let's see if I can be clearer about the problem after 10 hours of sleep. The time stamp on Teresa's post, on which we are commenting, reads 5am Monday morning. But I was reading it at 9:15pm Sunday on the west coast. Which put it at least 5 hours in the future. The time stamp on my comment was fine. It was the one on her post that was the problem. Is that clearer?

Getting back to the show, I'll comment because I saw it on Saturday (actually went to the Tate to see the Marcus Gheeraerts' exhibition, which for anyone into embroidery was magnificent). Anyway, the tape on the floor was fascinating, especially the way the architectural features echoed in the colours until they faded out. Also had a lovely column of coloured lights at one end, although I'm not sure the artist regarded the back as part of the piece - plain black with cables stretching down to multiple sockets - very funny in the context.

I wanted to say that I liked the tape piece very much at first, but the effect on my eyes after a while was very strange, and I wouldn't want to live with it.

Moveable Type sometimes apparently uses invisible ink.

I think you have to either post URL references with no tag information at all, or include a full bracketed anchor around the hyperlink. If you put a URL between single or double brackets without the A=, it just goes away.

What a great reminder of the possibilities of the floor plane! I wonder what it feels like to stand in that space now? How it would feel to sprawl out on that floor with a book? (Probably not so good.) Try it in something with varied textures, or inlay the material into the floor.

Randolph, I'd go with monochrome furniture, black or white (but not both), then just above that have single-color accent items (tall vases, low hanging light fixtures, small throw pillows) that picked up the colors of the floor.
